Great PyreneesWe have been raising AKC registered Great Pyrenees for 25 years! This is the very first breed we started raising, and we are still enjoying their companionship on the farm. It all started with a cross bred litter from a guard dog that was sold to us, and the previous owner swore she would never have puppies! Soon after, we started breeding her to a Pyrenees male on a regular basis. We instantly fell in love with the breed. Their temperaments are perfect for anyone from small children to older adults. We have never had any problems with them being around other animals, and they were very effective when it came to guarding our flock of sheep as well as our family home.
